“Consensus” can perform extremely delicate role of mediator in conflict resolution.
Mediation is an activity in which a neutral third party mediator helps two or more parties to reach an agreement with the specific effect of general interest in the broadest sense is any activity that achieves agreement on a matter which is of general interest to countries with unbiased third party.
Mediation is applicable for the following areas:
- debate, discussion or any kind of confrontation between or different perspectives of the parties;
- desire for positive constructive assistance through a third party, usually an independent, neutral and without any connection with the parties involved;
- strive for a stable result by lasting agreement;
- usual form of agreement through mediation include free and self-determined consensus of the parties to the proposed agreement.
Mediation must ensure safety, justice and achieve a result which satisfies both parties.
